One Year New
It’s been a year since our customers, manufacturers and industry groups were introduced to the Gexpro brand and the feedback has been positive. As customers discover that we’ve preserved many of the operating principals that guided us during our 100+ years as part of GE, they realize we’re making changes only when it makes things better.
We’re often asked about the meaning of our name and the symbol in our logo. Here are the details. Our name is an expression of our proud heritage and our operating philosophy. You can break it down to three parts to see what we mean:
- Ge refers to our century with General Electric
- ex stands for experience and excellence, two of our strongest attributes
- pro is for our 2,500 professionals who always give their best for you
Put it all together and you get Gexpro.
The corporate symbol represents the wires that connect everything in our business. Just as wires make connections to move power, Gexpro connects customers with products and powerful services & solutions. The four different colors of the wires represent our guiding principals: Professional, Accountable, Customer-Focused and Experienced.
