Great light
I placed one of these units in a closet sky light No more faded clothes. It was surface mounted to the ceiling. Used 2 layers of 2" foiled foam insulation above it. Drilled 4 holes in the edge and screwed it to the ceiling joists. Trim out the edges with 3/4" quarter round moulding and painted the light's edges and quarter round pine with ceiling paint. You can't tell it is not a sky light! Perfect coloration(4000K), light distribution and wattage. This is my 2nd sky light cover-up. This light can replace any ceiling light in a residence.
