Excellent T8 replacement
I ordered 2 of these bulbs to use in an existing residential fixture (my laundry room shop light), and they are fantastic. They give notably brighter & cleaner light than the previous florescent T8 bulbs, and no loss at all in terms of light "spread" out of the fixture - in fact, the light spread has increased. I am definitely impressed with these bulbs - Cree is doing some great stuff lately!
Compared to flo T8s, the energy savings aren't eye-popping, but every little bit helps, and and I really like the instant-on & no more random buzzing/flickering.
Prompt shipping from Platt, and the bulbs were very well packaged by Platt for shipping - lots of good padding & protection - that is great service - thanks Platt crew!
